Unfortunately, since the pandemic the Carnegie Hall has become unavailable as a venue on Saturday mornings. Therefore, as of October 2021 TAYTA has moved to a new permanent location at Fire Station Creative at Fire Station Creative, Carnegie Drive, Dunfermline.

Due to the Carnegie Hall becoming unavailable on Saturday mornings, we have now moved to the Fire Station Creative on Carnegie Drive.
We are excited to announce that on the 27th of April TAYTA returned home to the Carnegie Hall! Classes will remain at the usual time of 9:30am for TAYTA 1 (8-11 year olds) and 11:30am for TAYTA 2 (12+ year olds). Members will now, however, need to sign in at the main Carnegie Hall box office when they arrive instead of the theatre’s music institute box office.
The TAYTA 1 presentation starts at 12noon, followed by the AGM and then TAYTA 2’s presentation.
Anyone aged 16+ is welcome to join the TAYTA committee at the AGM. If you would like to discuss what that would involve please email tayta1and2@gmail.com.
We have now returned to the Carnegie Hall, the home of TAYTA!

Our first classes at 4Arts will take place on the 1st December.
The Christmas performances and AGM will take place at 4Arts on the 15th December – another post on that to follow soon!
A wee update on what’s going on at TAYTA this month.
We are on holiday over the October holidays on Saturday 13th and 20th October.
When TAYTA starts back on the 27th of October it will be Bring A Friend Day! Everyone is invited to bring a friend along with them to TAYTA that morning (for free, of course!). We look forward to seeing you then!

Due to events outwith our control we have a change of venue for the Christmas Shows on the 16th December, and for TAYTA classes the week before (9th December). But do not despair, we have an amazing, award winning venue instead, none other than the fabulous Dunfermline Carnegie Library! Find full details below.
Saturday 9th December
On the 9th December both classes will meet at their normal times, but at Dunfermline Carnegie Library where we have a room for our rehearsals. Come to the Reception and look for Iain or Jemma.
Saturday 16th December
The 16th December is show day! Both classes will meet at 9.30am at the Reception Desk of Dunfermline Carnegie Library for rehearsals, where they will be met by Iain or Jemma.
We invite all family and friends to come along at 11am to join us for the two shows and our Annual General Meeting. We will be starting at 11am with one of the two performances, so don’t be late!

TAYTA will start back after Christmas on Saturday 13th January.
All TAYTA parents and guardians are warmly invited to Coffee with the Committee this Saturday 25th November! Stay for a coffee with the Committee after dropping off your young person, or join us between TAYTA 1 and 2 from 11am and 11.30am.
We would love to have a chance to talk to you and hear your ideas for future fundraisers or activities as well as introduce you to ourselves and the work of the Committee.

TAYTA classes start back on Saturday 28th October, when rehearsals start for our Christmas play.

We are now on holiday from TAYTA Saturday classes until Saturday 28th October.
However, TAYTA will be offering free drama taster workshops on Saturday 7th October at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries as part of their Fun Palace weekend, which is open to anyone aged 8-14. Regular TAYTA members are welcome to come and bring friends!
The morning workshop is 10-10:45am, and afternoon workshop 2-2:45pm. No booking is required, just come along.
